Our home is situated on over 3 acres with direct access to the Schroon River. Please note that the trail leading to the river is steep and uneven, with drop-offs along the way. Caution is advised when using the trail, and it may not be suitable for small children. We had a great 3 night stay. The house was as pictured and nicely decorated. It was the perfect getaway with plenty to keep the kids busy: Rob was very responsive and helpful. The house is a short drive to a great little town- Bolton Landing, which boasts several good restaurants and little shops.

I had envisioned a calm, adventurous girls weekend for my bachelorette party, and Robert’s chalet was the perfect place to bring my vision to life! The house was gorgeous and clean, with many amenities that made our stay seamless. It was close to all of the activities we wanted, like the town of Lake George, good hiking spots, and the Adirondack Extreme Adventure Course. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking dinner, and the game room and board games meant we could have fun at the house instead of feeling the need to go out at night. We really didn’t need much because Robert had thought of everything, but when I did reach out he was quick to respond and very accommodating. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again!

The house was nicely furnished, very clean and well located. Robert was responsive and checked in on us. The walk (not for everyone) down to the river was really nice. We got to sit out by the river and enjoy the view.

Our family absolutely loved staying here! We are already talking about when we can go back. The house was beautiful, clean, and well designed for a family. We enjoyed exploring the yard and riverbank as well. The house is close to many great attractions and fun towns. We skied at Gore Mountain several days and then tried multiple restaurants close by in the cute local towns. Robert was one of the best hosts we’ve met. He was very responsive and helpful. He had great recommendations and the house directions were very clear. An absolute gem!!

A wonderful home - cozy and warm, high quality appliances, smart TVs, furnishings and sheets, brand new kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the fireplace and outdoor firepit for smores. Stunning views across the river, very close to Bolton Landing for restaurants, easy access off the thruway. The host met our every need. Kids LOVED the basement game room - we cant wait to go back in the summer! Easily fit two families 8 people.
